SCAA Certifies Anadyr to Accept Boeing 767

On March 11, 2004 SCAA of Russia officially granted Anadyr airport B-767 certification. This means that DYR has proved to the Russian government its ability to accept B-767 aircraft and provide associated equipment for ground handling and light maintenance.

Transaero airlines is planning to commence twice weekly MOW/DYR/MOW flight utilizing B-767. Anadyr airport has been undergoing modernization that includes a repaved and improved runway and construction of a heated hangar and new airport terminal facility. We have been in touch with the airport management directly and thru our local representative to keep current on all of the latest developments at the DYR airport.
